North Union Community School District

Local Education Associations team up with NU FCCLA

The North Kossuth and North Union Education Associations team up with the North Union FCCLA chapter to provide families in our districts with Meals-in-a-Jar as part of a community service grant.  At this event invited families will choose three meal-in-a-jar mixes to take home and enjoy with their families.  There is no cost to those families invited to attend due to the grants the education associations received through ISEA Community Outreach Grants.  Some of the meals families have to choose from include:

Pancake Meal: pancake mix, syrup, and sausage

Scalloped Potatoes & Ham Meal: scalloped potatoes mix and ham

Pizza Meal: pizza mix, cheese, and meat

Hamburger Casserole Meal: noodles, seasoning, and hamburger

The Meals-in-a-Jar nights will be offered to invited families on three different nights at three different locations beginning at 6:30 each night.

Thursday, Jan. 25 – NU High School Family Consumer Science room – Armstrong

Thursday, Feb. 1 – NU Elementary Lunchroom – Fenton

Monday, Feb. 5 – NU Elementary/MS Lunchroom – Swea City

We would like to remind families that received invitations to return their RSVPs by Friday, Jan. 19 to their child’s school.  Also, if you have any questions, feel free to contact Mrs. Kathy Paul at 712-868-3590 or Mrs. JoAnn Eaton at 515-889-2261
